2009年“第四届全国中学生双语演讲比赛”我校参赛选手获得不俗的佳绩

2009年8月29日（星期六）早上，当太阳刚刚张开惺忪的睡眼时，早已有12位来自不同学校的学生焦急地等待着比赛的开始。

在新加坡理工学院举行的全国中学学生双语演讲比赛决赛即将开战，十二位决赛选手将在接下来的3个小时内，经过中英文双语备稿演讲和即席演讲两轮比赛，决出最后的优胜者。

一番龙争虎斗之后，我校选手不负众望，取得了高年级组冠军和低年级组优胜奖的优异成绩！

代表德明政府中学参赛的选手分别为：高年级组别的何书君同学（4L）和低年级组别的王俊伟同学（1J）。

Good news!

Our school has won 4th NATIONAL BILINGUAL SPEECH CONTEST FOR ALL SECONDARY SCHOOLS 2009, in the Upper Secondary category!

Fellow Dunmanian He Shujun (4L) captured the top prize with an excellent performance.

DHS was also awarded the consolation prize in the lower secondary category-this was won by Wong Jun Wei (1J).

Both of them did us proud by applying what they have learnt in the Bicultural Studies Programme.
